Granite County Museum is sponsoring a snowmobile excursion up to Granite Ghost Town on Saturday March 1st, 2014.  Registration begins at 11 AM and the ride runs from 1 pm until 4 PM.  Participants will gather at Granite Road & Railroad St. for last-minute registrations and tickets then head out to Granite at 1 PM.  (If you leave too early, there won't be anyone up there to give your ticket to!)  Prizes will be drawn at 5 PM at the museum.

 

Registration is $10 per ticket, however, since this is a charity event you can purchase additional tickets if you wish.  Tickets and information are available at:

Riders will take their ticket up to Granite Ghost Town and present it to the official at the top. The official will deposit the ticket stub in a mixing jar and give the claim ticket back to the rider for the drawing. Everyone is invited to Granite County Museum for food and refreshments beginning at 4 PM.  Prize drawings will be held at 5 PM at the museum.  Food and refreshments will be available for sale at the museum from from Philipsburg Brewery and Up-N-Smokin'.

 

THIS IS NOT A RACE!  Prizes are awarded in a random drawing, so there is no need to rush up and down the mountain. Its dangerous enough with two-way snowmobile traffic on the road, so be safe and enjoy the ride.
